Carol is a fully qualified UK Primary school teacher with over 20 years’ experience in ELT and teacher training. Carol was Head of Product Marketing at Macmillan 2013 - 2017 and before that spent 13 years at Pearson as Senior Brand Manager for ELT. She has worked as the development editor for K-6 materials and created content for both print projects and online campaigns for A1 – C1 level students/adults. Carol mapped courses to the CEFR and to the Cambridge English Young Learners Exams (CE:YL) and designed Scope and Sequence documentation to enable EFL teachers to use courses effectively. Carol's strengths include first-hand experience of teaching and working for 11 years in Asia (six years in Japan, three years in Taiwan and two years in Hong Kong), as well as organising and presenting at Pearson's Amazing Minds programme from 2007 - 2013. Carol has also presented at numerous teacher training events in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Central and South America.
