October 2021 will see the launch of the computer-based version of Pearson English International Certificate (previously known as PTE General). This new test gives learners the freedom to certify their English language ability, any time (up to 24 hours in advance), from the comfort of their home.
The webinar series will introduce you to all the features and design of this exciting, ultra-convenient new test, plus the benefits for learners and their teachers around the world.

Week 1: Introducing… the new online Pearson English International Certificate

Join us to discuss Pearson English International Certificate, the benefits that computer-based testing offers, and how teachers can engage with us to prepare students for the test. We will discuss how to purchase the tests at a discount and access tests and results via a new user and teacher platform. Teachers who attend this session will receive a free Readiness Test with a complete, personalised score report that predicts what your outcome would be on the online test.
Week 2: The pedagogy behind the Pearson English International Certificate

Week 3: Online proctoring and Pearson English International Certificate

This webinar will explore the ways in which test takers can certify their proficiency in English while taking a digital test from the safety of home, all with the sufficient security that a certification requires. Week 4: Pearson English International Certificate test design and scoring: The human element
