Ready for the way forward
The COVID-19 health crisis in 2020 has impacted teachers and students lives all around the world. As we think ahead to the new academic year, we’re all considering the challenges and uncertainties we are sure to face.
We want to support our global community of ELT teachers with relevant resources, enhanced platforms, better information and professional development opportunities.
That’s why we are reaching out to you all now with our 4-minute teacher support survey – Ready for the way forward.
We also welcome those of you who are in the middle of your school year to participate.

What’s on your mind?
Whether you are preparing a syllabus for online or hybrid classes, embracing blended learning or teaching face-to-face groups with social distancing, there’s no doubt that things are different this year.
We want to hear from you and come to understand what’s on your mind, as we prepare for the way forward in these uncertain times. We invite you to tell us what you’ve been doing to get ready for the new school year. In particular, we’d like to learn more about:
- How you have been developing your skills
- Your worries about lost learning – that is, where students haven’t been able to progress as they might have if their learning hadn’t been interrupted
- Your personal experiences dealing with the mental health of your learners
- How you have managed social distancing
- And how confident you feel about the future
Do you have 4 minutes?
We’ve crafted a 4-minute survey to gather stories from around the world. It will help us continuously support teaching and learning going forward as you go back to school.
While the survey is anonymous, we would like to use some of the comments made by our teachers to reflect on how people are feeling and share your experiences with the wider community.
The survey will be available until Monday 10th August.
